Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film (PPF)

What is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer applied to the exterior surfaces of vehicles. It chemically bonds with the surface, creating a durable and transparent barrier. it has many advantages: Advantages of Ceramic Coating: 1) Enhanced Protection- It forms a durable layer on the surface, protecting it from swirl marks, UV rays and chemical contaminants.   2) Hydrophobic Properties- It repels water and liquids, making it easier to clean and maintain the surface. 3) Glossy Finish- They provide a deep, glossy shine to the surface, enhancing the appearance of the vehicle 4) Longevity- Gtechniq Ceramic Coating provides 5 years or 9 years manufacturer's warranty. No more wax required.   5) Easy Maintenance- They reduce the need for frequent washing and detailing, saving time and effort in upkeep. 6) Resistant to stains- Ceramic Coatings resists stains and etching from environmental pollutants, keeping surfaces looking new for longer periods.

With E TECH, every ceramic coating application follows these meticulous procedures:

1) Decontamination wash  ( 1.5 hours)

Car Wash and Detailing

Decontamination wash includes following procedures:

1) Pre-washing : Apply snow foam detergent to effectively loosen and lift dirt and dust from the car's surface without the need for physical contact, thereby minimizing the risk of scratches caused by dragging contaminants across the vehicle.

2) Two bucket wash method: The benefit of the two-bucket wash method lies in its ability to significantly reduce the risk of introducing swirl marks and scratches to the vehicle's paintwork during the washing process.

2) Clay Bar and Iron Fallout Treatment ( 1.5 hours)

Interior detailing

Clay Bar and Iron fallout treatment: Clay bar effectively remove embedded contaminants such as dirt, brake dust, tar, tree sap from the surface of vehicle. Iron fallout removers specifically target and dissolve iron particles that have bonded to paint surface.  By eliminating contaminants and iron particles, these methods enhance the clarity and gloss of the paint.

3) Paint Correction / Paint Enhancement (2 hours)

Paint correction

Paint Correction

Paint correction is a process used to restore the finish of a vehicle's paintwork by removing imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, water spots, oxidation, and other surface defects. It typically involves a series of steps, including compounding, polishing, and refining, to level the surface and enhance its clarity and gloss.

Paint Enhancement

Paint enhancement is a detailing process that aims to improve the appearance of a vehicle's paintwork without performing extensive paint correction. Unlike paint correction, which focuses on removing imperfections and defects from the paint surface, paint enhancement involves enhancing the existing finish by adding depth, gloss, and clarity.

4) Clean with Gtechniq Panel Wipe then apply Gtechniq Ceramic Coating   (Approx. 3 hours)

The final step in paint preparation before applying ceramic coating involves eliminating all polish residue using Panel Wipe (PW). This ensures that chemically bonding coatings can establish the maximum number of bonds with your vehicle’s body paintwork. PW is a formulation of pure alcohols and solvents designed to dissolve and remove polish residues, evaporating quickly to leave the surface 100% decontaminated. Once this step is completed, the vehicle is primed for the application of ceramic coating.

5) Interior protection (1.5 hours)

Interior protection and detailing

Interior protection involves applying a protective layer to all plastic, leather, fabric, and cloth surfaces within the vehicle. This includes seats, dashboards, center consoles, door trims, seat belts, carpets, and floor mats. The protective layer serves to guard against UV fading and resist stains from bonding to surfaces, thereby helping to maintain the interior's appearance and longevity.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) provides superior protection compared to ceramic coating. PPF defends against scratches, rock chips, and minor abrasions by serving as a sacrificial layer, absorbing impacts to safeguard the original paint. We've chosen Avery Dennison, a top brand known for its key features: up to 10 years of durability, high transparency without yellowing, peeling, or blistering. Additionally, it offers ultimate stain resistance and effortless self-healing properties.
